a little kid touched my heart

its amazing how a little kid touched my heart.
i just came out of this movie about a dyslexic kid. i am sure most indians would have heard about this one even if not watched it. the direction, acting and all were pretty good...but the little kid was just phenomenal. there were some scenes in the movie that almost made me cry - and thats a big thing!
first, when the kid's parents leave him to at the boarding school. man, i just couldn't control my emotions. the way the kid cried helplessly. the song that played in the background made things even more difficult for me. the song basically brought out the emotions of a 9 year old kid that is challenged and has never been away from him mom. its like the worst punishment you can ever give a kid. too bad, i don't even vaguely remember how it used to be being a 8 or 9 year old. but the way the kid acted it, i was totally blown away.
the next one, when the kid has improved a lot thanks to his art teacher and he's getting ready to go for the art competition. it was just amazing how a kid who couldn't even tie his shoe lace properly is getting all ready when the other kids are still sleeping. they show the kid going to a place whose landscape he wanted to paint. again, his act totally got me.
the last one, when the kid wins the best prize in the art competition. the way he goes to his art teacher and weeps - this was the best part of the movie.
i wish i could have cried like a baby. the kid really got me heavy hearted. my eyes were all red when i got out of the movie. aamir khan - good job!
