Bungy Jumping in NZ

Check out my bungy jumping video. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to NZ. I must say that I had a sleepless night on the night before the jump. I didn't know I would be so terrified and be so anxious.

I purposely chose the 9.00 AM slot for the jump so that I could be done with it first thing in the day. We got up on time and drove there again with a lot of anxiety. Once we got there, the excitement and the fear just kept increasing.

Niki wasn't helping things too much. She kept saying that she won't be able to do the jump. Then we got all strapped for the jump and there I stood on the edge, in the center of the bridge, with a river flowing 150 feet below me. All I could think was - what am I getting myself into?

I told the guy who was strapping me up to push me if I didn't jump voluntarily. He said that we don't do bungy pushing!

He made me face the 2 cameras taking my picture. And even before he finished counting down, I just jumped! For a second, I thought I was going to die. But soon after, I got a feeling of being super strong. I had an amazing feeling of achievement.

Though the jump was one of the easiest in Queenstown, I still thought I had achieved an amazing feat. Check out the video.
